Alex
Fielding
Chief Technology Officer
Alex Fielding is an expert in providing
leadership and strategic planning to Fortune 500 Companies
in the areas of technology, communications, networking,
and overall system architecture. He has held several
key corporate positions, advisory roles, and is a member
of various Boards of Directors.
As Chief Technology Officer for Tri-Valley Data Center,
Mr. Fielding is responsible for developing next generation
products and services as well as strategizing the overall
technology and corporate direction of the Silicon Valley
Corporation.
Prior to Tri-Valley, Mr. Fielding was a member of senior
management and engineering at WoZ, Exodus, Apple, Cisco,
and several start-up technology ventures. He co-founded
Wheels of Zeus (WoZ) with Apple Computer co-founder,
Steve Wozniak, where he was responsible for initial
product development and strategic product research and
analysis. At Exodus,
Mr. Fielding managed the West Coast Platinum Network
Engineering and Support teams with customers such as
Lycos, eBay, iDrive, Inktomi, Merrill Lynch, Yahoo/Geocities,
Microsoft/MSN/Hotmail, Charles Schwab, Honeywell, Franklin
Templeton, and the Walt Disney Corporation totaling
over 40% of Exodus’ total annual revenues.
In various positions at Apple,
Cisco, and MacExperts,
Mr. Fielding managed technical and engineering teams
in the areas of software and product development, communications,
and quality.
Mr. Fielding currently holds Advisory Board positions
at Wheels of Zeus,
Network Physics,
CaseSync and ShopIP.
In addition, he is a distinguished individual member
of the American Registry of Internet Numbers (ARIN);
the Internet's IP address allocation authority and a
member of the Silicon Valley Association of Startup
Entrepreneurs (SVASE)
a non-profit corporation.
